I used the canisters for plant material. Worked really well.
I hope she has a dermatologist.

With our (infamous) "Hero" - John Kerry?
Nope, much smaller boat. His, 80 ft, aluminum, air conditioned and only coastal or large river capable. Mine, 31 ft, fiberglass, we backed up some small rivers since leaving was more important than arriving.
Hoping to see if Ken Burns covers the US Navy river patrol boats (PBRs). I spent a year there on the rivers mostly night ambush. When I mention I was in country and the Navy people assume I was out in the Gulf of Tonkin in a battle ship or such. There is much the US populace doesn't know what went on in those years, especially those born after the war. I went to Viet Nam as a tourist in 2007 and met many young Vietnamese who think the world of the USA. Go figure, we mess up the country and leave and the next generation likes us. Remember, "Old men send young men to war". Still happens and probably won't ever stop.
Excellent video, thank you.
Welcome to the Hog from a River Rat, 69-70. Riv Divs 531,543,571. Got moved around a lot. Mostly small rivers.
Thank you for the suggestions. Went to the St. Petersburg Grand Prix yesterday did gambled using the 28-120 f4 lens. Sure enough, not long enough. Great shots of chain link fence. Even getting to the top of the grand stands, and standing on the bench, all I could get was the top of the cars speeding by obstructed by the large cement safety barriers. Wish I could be down with the guys with the "Photo Vests" who had access to cutouts in the fence. Great race anyway. If the photos warrant (any of them) I will post.
Thank you again for the help. I have learned a lot as always on this site.
Very nice, agree that #4 is iconic. Curious about the sky. #2 has a blue sky the rest are grey. Did you shoot at different times and or days?
reminds me of growing up in Chicago winters in the 50's without storm windows. The most fantastic designs in nature. Thanx for the photo and the memories.
Wow, brings back memories from 1969. Very cool!
If you have teen age children available, yours or a neighbors, have them trouble shoot. It is their world not ours.
Thank you, I think I will download the byThom book. Much appreciated.
