I looked on Amazon for a book to compliment my manual for the D750. The only book listed was by Busch for, get this, $2,500 new. Am I halusinating? Does anyone know where I can buy this book for reasonable price? His spiral bound field guide is $20. Is that a useful item? I would prefer the book.

Thanx in advance for help.

Pete

Maybe not. His new book on the Canon 5D3 is $766.93 on Amazon (seriously), but the field guide is $12.59 - go figure.

You'll never go wrong with one of Thom Hogan's guides. He's been providing top quality Nikon camera guides for years .......

The Busch book is about $25 digital, so probably about $35 in paper. Also the "Snapshots to Great Shots" and the "D75 Experience" books are pretty good also and run about the same as the Busch books price wise . . .
I have all three for my D3300 and D5500 . . . I personally like the "___ Experience" books a little better, . . . But they are all much easier to understand than the Nikon manual . . .

Sometimes suppliers don't have stock, but want to keep the advert out to save having to re-make the page. The easy way is to put the price up to a point where nobody would buy untill you have stock.
It may be worth keep watching for a while...

I like the Darrell Young book "Mastering the Nikon D750" about $30.00 very useful.

Why buy a book - just download a digital copy of the manual which is completely searchable if you use adobe pdf copy . Books are really frustrating when you want to find something fast!

Your userโ€™s manual explains nearly everything you could possibly need to know about the camera. A good photography course will teach you what to do with it.

Wow, it must be one of those rare signed editions๐Ÿ˜‚. Really, it is a great book but you shouldn't have to pay more than 30 bucks. I bought the field manual-not as wordy, but only 12 bucks. Excellent!

Ah yes you are hallucinating. It's $25.00, not $2,500.00.
