I received an extra copy of a British Magazine, "Nphoto," which came with a copy of DxOptics Pro 9.
It's sitting in my computer room and rather than throwing it out I'm offering it to anyone who is interested.

Rather than mailing it, I'd prefer to give it to someone who lives in South Nassau (I'll even meet up in mid-Nassau like the Westbury area), Western Suffolk, or even Queens, NY. (I'm in the Maspeth area once a month for a card game.)

We had an exchange student staying with us ths semester, about teo weeks ago we found he was smoking cigarettes and cigars in the guest bathroom. He would block the bottom of the door with the bathmat and run the ceiling vent so he had been doing it for some time.During discussions about this and his grades with an exchange counselor he admitted to smoking pot as well. He has been sent home, but we now must get rid of the odors. He used a lot of Febreeze so we have that odor as well. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have had a Canon PowerShot SX50HS for 3 years and have been extremely pleased with this camera...it's gotten lots of use and it's time to buy another camera...mainly because I'm taking a trip to Antarctica and am looking forward to all of the photo ops a trip like this has to offer. My problem is that while I would like to get a new generation of this model, the reviews are not so promising...particularly because Canon unwisely removed the eyepiece viewfinder...instead the only viewfinder is the LCD on the back of the camera, which I almost NEVER use when taking photos. Any suggestions? I prefer to stay in a price range under $1,000 and want the versatility that this single lens camera provides...great telephoto~
