Have you considered emptying the recycle bin on each? (They should both be empty afterwards) And I have to ask (and I'm honestly not being a smart ass - just trying to help and understand) why do you care what the recycle bin looks like internally?

TriX I did empty both Recycle Bins several times an that never clears up this problem. When in my Laptop I have so many more options to the RB than I have to the Desktop. I prefer the RB to be the same as it gives the best look-a-like on both computers/interface. When using DT I have squat for options.
It's as though something is wrong with the DT RB.

I have Win 10 on both Desktop & Laptop an the versions are the same I have Win10 Home 64bit on both. I have the Recycle Bin but the Desktop vs Laptop are not the same an cannot get Desktop to look like the Laptop. I have attached two pics of each for you to look at. Any one have an idea as to why this is like this and how to fix it. All help would be greatly appreciated. Trying to make both the same as Laptop Recycle Bin. Many Thanks

Canon has just released three new cameras the EOS M6 mirrorless and 2 DSLRS, the 800D/Rebel T7i and the 77D. The 800D/T7i I understand, because it is in every way an upgrade to its predecessor, the T6i/750D. But the 77D? Numerically, it positions itself between the 70D and the 80D and it is supposedly a prosumer level camera, yet it is not an upgrade to either. It has better processor and software than either, but it has a Rebel level of battery, Rebel level of continuous shooting speed and no weatherproofing. So what is it, exactly? Some say it is a T7s/760D upgrade, which makes sense on the one hand, but why on earth use the prosumer naming convention? It's as though someone put a few bells and whistles onto a VW Passat and tried to pass it off as an Audi.

And then what on earth are they doing with the lenses? Together with these two new cameras, Canon has released and upgraded 18-55mm kit lens, but one that has a maximum aperture of F4.0, rather than F3.5. I know the lens is slightly smaller than its predecessor, but how on earth can you call a slower lens an upgrade?

Personally, I think Canon have regressed with this one.

I recently got from Canon the new release of their new cameras and I inquired about the len/s that are needed for the T7i and getting all 45 points of focus and here is their reply:
Thank you for contacting Canon product support regarding the EOS Rebel T7i. I understand you would like to know more about the auto focus capability of the camera with different lenses. I am happy to assist you.

I realize the announcement of the Rebel T7i brings up questions about the particulars of the camera. Unfortunately, at this point we do not have much in terms of resources regarding the specifics of the camera. The manual will have a list of the information regarding the function of the AF system with our lenses, but it has not yet been published.

As we get closer to the release date there will be additional resources available. Feel free to reach out to us in the coming weeks as more information becomes available.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Thank you for choosing Canon.
I think you may be right about regressing, you would think that Canon would know what len/s need to be used to get all 45 focus points, as of yet they don't know, I think I will save my pennies up an get a FF camera instead. LOL!

It shows I have a *:Recoverey partion, but windoze does not show it. Also I have a FAT32 and no thumb drive was in computer at the time I opened PM. An how do I recover the partions that it says are not used but in screen shot it shows it is. I only have a 250Gig HD installed. Can anyone make heads or tails out of this mess? Any an all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you SS and to the many others who helped out, I will be leaving my A/R alone in camera. As to the 27'' monitor I can live with that. And thanks to those of you who pointed out the different ways of making a photo using the A/R, this now gives me another way for composition in some photos. Like when
I need a long photo with several people lined up side by side. Thanks to all :)

I am looking at a 27'' IPS LCD monitor, this being a 16x9 aspect ratio. I was wondering do I have to change the aspect ratio in my canon t4i from 3x2 &4x3 to 16x9 because the monitor is 16x9.

It may/maynot be a valid ? but I don't understand this aspect ratio stuff.

Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated from my fellow hogger's and thanks in advance to any and all who help.

Thanks to all that helped Many thanks!! Now I know I am gonna save my pennies I am going to the Mac, had windose way tooooo long, going for better.

I have noticed an wondered WHY I have under my Name-under This PC-and under Libraries-the folders Documents,Downloads,Music,Pictures,Videos.
To me this is just a waste of space on the HD, am I missing something here?
Having these in 3 locations is STUPID in my humble opionion. If memory serves me right, Windows 7 did not have all this redundancy. What possible reason can Windows have for doing this? Maybe it's just me, but I don't think so. Anyone care to give a Windows 10 user a reason other than the redundancy of Win 10 I attached a screen shot of what I mean. Thanks for any info and any way I can get rid of all this extra junk.

I am not sure I posted this in the correct area if not I hope Admin can do that for me. I see that Canon has updated all their current cameras firmware, I downloaded both the firmware dated 6-14-13 and 11-29-16, do I have to install the 2013 firmware update first than the one from 2016, or can I just install the 2016 version an be done with it? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have never done this to either of my cameras so would like a little reassurance that I would not screw it up leaving my Canon T4i useless. Thanks for any help!

Each soldier could choose which parts of the body he could use to determine the amount of the bonus.

The first candidate asked that the distance between the top of his head and the tip of his toes be used.

As it measured 1 m 80, it obtained a premium of 36 000 euros.

The second candidate, a little more cunning, asked to be measured with his arms raised above his head at the tips of his toes. He got 46,000 euros.

The third candidate, an old juicy chef who had seen more than one, asked to be measured from the tip of his penis to his testicles!

He was advised to reconsider the situation, highlighting the advantageous amounts that the first two candidates had received.

But the old soldier insisted and respected his choice on condition that the measure was taken by a military doctor.

The military doctor arrived and asked the adjutant to lower his pants, which he did.

The doctor placed the tape measure on the tip of the Chief Warrant Officer's penis and proceeded backwards.

"My God!' Said the doctor, "but where are your testicles?"

The old chief warrant officer calmly replied: "In Indochina

I have set up 10 different laptops with the Anniversary Update to Win 10- everything was going great until yesterday, when someone logs on as a Admin or Teacher(Admin) or Student after a while using the laptop it suddenly an with no warning it is about to do it: it comes up with a screen
much like some Antique screen and the user has to log back in. This happens every so often and is a real pain. I thought it was a screen saver problem so I set screen savers to None, did not help !!
Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you stop this aggravating screen that makes you re- login after a few minutes or so. Any an All help Greatly appreciated!
