Canon Firmware

I am not sure I posted this in the correct area if not I hope Admin can do that for me. I see that Canon has updated all their current cameras firmware, I downloaded both the firmware dated 6-14-13 and 11-29-16, do I have to install the 2013 firmware update first than the one from 2016, or can I just install the 2016 version an be done with it? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have never done this to either of my cameras so would like a little reassurance that I would not screw it up leaving my Canon T4i useless. Thanks for any help!

Just the latest version and the process is very straightforward - just make sure the battery is fully charged and don't interrupt the update until it's finished.

As others have said, the latest firmware is fine, but do follow the instructions carefully. You may not need it if you are nervous about the process, it seems to be just to fix problems with a couple of new lenses. I have a T3i and use Magic Lantern - an unofficial run time software offering - so I don't need or plan to use the f/w update as I don't have either of the lenses in question.
It's personal choice, but you may get nothing of value from the update.
