Is it possible to enlarge this photo and if so, how is it done in iphoto? If it can't be done in iphoto is there software that will let me do it?
Thank you!

Is there a way to add more water to the background of this photo?

That makes two of us who are too sensitive! Best way to learn is to be positive with comments.

Within the past week someone posted P&S camera reviews. There were 3 links, one of which was Ken Rockwell, I think? I've gone back and can't find it. Can someone locate the post for me?
Thanks, Diane

at 5:30 PM. The boats will be all lit up with Christmas lights and wondering what settings to use? I have the Canon 7D and plan on using the Tamron 10 - 24 mm. Suggestions please?

Having worked with homeless mentally ill with substance abuse problems for 20 years and still counting, I disagree that they do not want to be homeless. They are offered program after program and the universal response is "no thank you." The reason being they do not want to stop using and they do not want to follow anyone else's rule but their own. I have sympathy for their addiction and applaud those few who want and seek help, but they are very few.

Country Mama is correct. There are several postings at the San Diego zoo that any photos one takes are not to be used commercially.

Well said! I couldn't agree more. I work with parolees, many of whom are homeless and vets. If it weren't for the crystal meth and cocaine...I think this homeless guy is shameful for turning a good intention into a manipulative ploy to get something for nothing.

Use what you're comfortable with and do what feels natural. If the woman liked your turkey photos well enough to ask for a repeat performance that's enough to let you know she likes your work. Don't pay any attention to some of these folks telling you to get this and that. Seems to me that rather than answering your question they like to show off their knowledge. As for accepting dinner I think that's great. I've done numerous "free" shoots. Word of mouth is the best way to get referrals.

Thank you both for the tips. Loved the photos. The photo shoot is scheduled for December 8. I'll post if I get any good shots. Thank you again.

and looking for any tips. The shoot will probably take place outside under a sunny San Diego sky. Best settings? Also, would sports mode be appropriate since I anticipate movement?
