I have sent a request for quotes to this company and everytime the quotes are very low. Better to sell in E bay or Craigslist

After reading this entire thread it seems that the OP is a "tad bit" business and internet protocol/security "challenged."

YOu will have better luck on Ebay. Adorama has to keep room for them to make profit and that comes out of your profit. Most ebayers are end users so they are not going to resell.

You are absolutely correct. Also, we are needing to cost in the warranty, the returns period, the free shipping in for evaluation (and back if a customer isn't happy with the offer; repairs, servicing and cleaning; wages; advertising, storage. It goes on and on!

Im well aware what its called. Thats why I never sell to a place like that. I sold my tamron 18-200 on ebay and got 200 bucks for it. well above adorama or any other retail shop.

It is seldom the equipment but almost always the photographer.

The lenses you mention are good glass.

So I'm an ass for telling someone to try ebay instead of a retail store. Then you get condescending because I don,t know what OP means. Why don,t you speak like an adult in complete words and not like some 15 year old girl.

I just sent in two lenses to Adorama to be evaluated and they just got back to me. I sent in a tamron 18-200 and tamron 18-270, both practically brand new, barely used (under a year old), because I thought the pictures were a little too blurry for me, Ive never had a lens that I couldnt get at least one picture of a bird in flight that was good. These lenses didnt cut it. Adoram offers me 290.00 for the 18-270 and 40.00 for the 18-200!! Your opinions greatly appreciated. Ive never done this before, but I think theses are just a tad '?' low??

I just bought the 18-270 from a private party almost new less than a year old with box warranty and ever thing for three hundred. He bought it shoot high school band and soccer with and was not happy with it. I have got used to it but it is not very good and sharp at the upper end. It is over rated for a walk around lens.
