Very nice photos of the glacier and you, the Mrs. and grandkids. I hope someday to make it to Alaska.

Thanks, Preston. Its a beautiful place. You should start making plans to go there. I love it up there. I worked on the Kenai Peninsula back in the early '70s so when we went on this vacation I knew where to go. With the exception of Fairbanks and Denali, we drove and had a great time rafting, fishing and touring. I have more pics to share. Thanks for looking.

Great shots Gene, I hope to go back and spend some time driving rather than on a cruise so we can go to more locations and get some fishing in also when the big ones are running the river.

Thanks Greg. Do-it-yourself is the best way to go. I spent some time there back in the '70s and knew my way around. And the fishing in the Kenai River was spectacular back then. No boats. Plenty of people free areas. We did quite well. Caught Pinks, Silvers and Kings near Soldotna. What a way to do it after a day's work! I'm hoping to get back there before too long. Glad you like these and thanks for looking.
After spending some time at the Visitor Center, the g-kids decided to hike to the glacier. My wife and I stayed at the Ranger station and relaxed. I gave my camera to my grandson and told him to take lots of pics. He used my Canon EOS XSi w/EF 17-85mm lens and a CP filter shooting in P Mode. He did a good job. Included are a couple by my son and son-in-law.
Beautiful Country, Awesome shots, good lookin' family Gene...Thanks for sharing
