Hi Everyone,
I am new to Uglyhedgehog.com. i have been looking over the site, the photos, the comments etc... Gotta say, this seems to be a great community that I feel privileged to now be part of. I do have a question for anyone who is willing to answer. I have a Nikon D60 and D3400. I am looking for a decent 10 to 20 mm wide angle lense that does not have a fish eye affect. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Jefg

Tamron at a fair price and of course the NIKON .

Both are excellent

Try the sigma 10 to 20 f3.5 it runs no more than 450 dllrs it is not the greatest lens but easy to correct in pp I own 1 for the last 4 years and used in a nikon dx 5100 and dx7100 with good results

Hi - - Jeff:
Hoggers tend to be playful at times <LOL>
I have a Tokina 12-24 Mk-1 (for Canon) which is my best performing wide angle lens.
Tokina has come out with a Mk-2 version which I have not tried - but if it's better than my Mk-1, you'd be happy with it.
It's all bang for your buck - so would definitely look at reviews for Sigma, Tamron, and (of course) Nikon before buying.

Glad you guys are having some fun with this. The original expression was English and came from the game of pool. But it was "getting behind the eight ball" which of course means not doing very well in the game. Some how in comon usage it became ape ball probably because someone had bad hearing but that is how the English language evolves. So my mistake many of our expression "Down Under" would be foreign to North Americans as are many of yours to us. So thank you for picking me up on that I should have said..eight ball.

Lots of hogs are saying the Tokina 11-16. It is a nice lens I guess but I have the Tokina 11-20 on my D3300. Great lens also as I passed on Nikons new 10-20 $310. I paid twice Nikons price ( ouch ) but I'm happy. :-) Oh, and welcome
