I have the Sigma 10~20mm lens. Stands up to any other Sigma and Nikon lenses that I use. Just take precautions re - tilting camera, and edge of shot possible distortions.

Hi Everyone,
I am new to Uglyhedgehog.com. i have been looking over the site, the photos, the comments etc... Gotta say, this seems to be a great community that I feel privileged to now be part of. I do have a question for anyone who is willing to answer. I have a Nikon D60 and D3400. I am looking for a decent 10 to 20 mm wide angle lense that does not have a fish eye affect. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Jefg

Here you go. AND, it is getting very good reviews.

I recently bought a used Nikon lense 10 - 20 dx vr f 4.5 - 5.6 g lense to use on a d7100. It’s quicklipy becoming one of my favorite lenses. Similar to the comments above there is some fish bowling at the lower end (and you can get rid of most of that in post-processing. I believe I paid about $170 for the lense.

Welcome, Jeff! You're in luck and can stay with Nikon! The D3400 is fully compatible with Nikon's new 10-20 non-fisheye zoom for only around $310. It won't work at all on the D60, but hey, just use it on the D3400 and any other new DX cameras you get in the future.

Welcome - always happy to see more Nikon shooters join.
As other have said the Toking solution may be the best option.

That's a new one>>>>"APE BALL"?

Hi Jefg..dont take any notice of Sharpshooter he is a Canon owner who delights in poking fun at any Nikon owner he can. Notice I did say Canon was also sitting on its hands and I am hearing that from honest Canon owners they agree they are also behind the ape ball no Mirrorless FF from them either. So he does not have much to crow about while Sony is laughing all the way to the bank also taking Canon customers.

Welcome. I have the Sigma 10-20 F3.8 for my D7000. Love it, decent price, great quality. I call it a wide wide. Use it exclusively in our Utah canyons tour in 2016. Pushes vertical lines in or out a bit if you don't hold it level but the effect added a nice visual impact to the hoodoos in Bryce.

welcome. I shoot both aps-c and full frame. I have a 8mm lens that gives a 180 degree image on both cameras. it's a third party lens, cheap and fits most cameras.

Welcome to the forum, Jeff. From the very start, you can "go to the bank" with suggestions/comments from JerryC. Always remember that!
