Occupaion: business owner/carpenter/politician Interests: photo, mtn. bike/road racing, scuba diving, skiing, woodworking, traveling, olympic games. Biography: I was born and raised in NorCal.
Alma mater, University of California at Berkeley.
Started with film in the mid 60's. My first real camera was an Argus C3. Had a string of SpotMatics in the 70s and 80s. In the late 80's I had two Canon T90's. Had one stolen then a year later the other. Had lots of P&S's. I did not get a DSLR until 08. I was going to get a Nikon D200 but a friend gave me his old Canon 20D. Used it for one year and now shoot with a Canon 5Ds/7ll. I print with a Canon IPF 5000 and a Canon 9000 mkII. Not to many wants equipment-wise
I shoot a lot of nature, landscape and travel. The last few years I've shot lots of sports(mostly bicycle racing) and studio, (mostly Models) and commercial shooting. I like traveling and have not missed a summer Olympic Games since 84. It gets me out of the house every four years. Rio, here I come! I belong to the Berkeley Camera Club(PSA club). Check out the BCC and the N4C websites. Go to "competitions" and poke around. I am mostly done with a profesional photo curriculum at my local College but not in much of a hurry now since all I have left is a few intro classes. It's been great learning to see the light(and shadows). Thanks for looking and happy shooting!! Website: Almost 🙈🙊🙉
