About user:
From the time I received a Kodak Brownie camera on my 9th birthday, I have loved photography. I have enjoyed learning how to create wonderful photographs by striving to improve not only my photographic skills, but my post-processing skills as well. While I endeavor to get the shot right in the camera, I do enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs, although I try to keep post-processing to a minimum, believing that 'more is less', in order to keep the scene as natural as possible. Capturing the beauty of landscapes was my first passion. The black and white photographs from my early days with that little Brownie allowed me to learn about composition, emphasis and light. With my first color film (Kodachrome . . . Ah, beautiful Kodachrome . . . ), I knew I had found a lifelong passion.. For 30 years I worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises, ending my career as a senior corporate executive when I took early retirement in 1992.
