Canon or Nikon or Canon... That's why i went with both way back in the 1970's and haven't looked back. In many cases the lenses offered by each were different so i went with what was best for my needs. I even swap camera straps at times which really throws the cat among the pigeons when you walk into a camera club!!!

Yes one catalogue is the best way to go. 663K pictures in the one catalogue and everything works fine.

Stills only, although all my current cameras will shoot video as well.

I have a large range of Neewer products ranging from a full studio flash setup down to camera triggers,
all of which work fine so have never needed to contact them directly.

It may well be different in the U.S. but in the U.K. some grey import cameras can be 30% or more cheaper depending on who you buy it from. In almost every case i was offered a retailers 2 year warranty, not that i have ever had to use them. I have purchased several high end Nikon and Canon SLR's as well as lenses over the years all of which are still working perfectly. Should one every break down, with the savings i have made paying for a repair of a replacement camera would still leave me in the black.

4 off the Topaz plug-ins work fine with Big Sur. The other 3 will be updated for Big Sur in the next few weeks.

We really are getting of topic!!! Why doesn't everyone just agree to disagree and get back to what we all should be here for, looking at some great images, not only in this section but in all of Hedgehog?!

Thanks for the advice. As i just get a daily email link to the 'Ugly Hedgehog forum digest' so had no real idea of what exactly to do next. I DO enjoy the forum and the vast range of topics covered, which is what prompted me to try and participate.
