it is I a bum from the Twin Cities
I donated my older lenses and film gear to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD)
Thus my family will not have to find willing takers. My black and white picture albums will be kept in the family with appropriate IDs. I may be the only person who can identify the usual suspects.
MCAD was grateful to receive and add to their extensive inventory of many types and brands of film gear.
Lots of good enviable equipment in their back room shelves
I also donated some cash to MCAD to cover repairs that might be needed on my gear.
Apparently film is not dead in the art and teaching environment.
I was setimental about some of equipment but no one else was, it was just another camera to others.
Good to clear some of the deck.
Just used mine purchased by my daughter (a member)
Much easier than the two other non SSD drives I have for backup
No instruction card but non really needed. Plug and play into my laptop
Good connectors that matched up laptop for drive input/output
1969 college freshman took the Hiawatha from Minneapolis to Chicago.
Arrived at Union Depot and called parents for a ride home.
They lived out in Elgin IL and told me to take the commuter train back out to them.
I made it home by midnight.
Great series of photos. Love the old depots to bad Minneapolis had to tear down their Great Northern Depot downtown.

The Minneapolis College of Art and Design was happy and grateful to take my Pentax and Canon film cameras plus lenses. They have an impressive inventory of both 35mm and medium format cameras.
The Minneapolis College of Art and Design took 9 cameras plus lenses
They were happy to add them to their impressive inventory. FYI All donated
Happy New Year 2020!!
