Thanks. Know how to use but in some of my travels auto mode is just more convenient. Now I just adjust each photo that I plan to keep

In Default setting every photo seems to be overexposed by one stop. Where can I adjust for this? Standard Olympus 14-150 lens

This statement pertains to the use of LiveND on Olympus cameras. LiveND is a computational mode that combines a number of exposures to simulate an ND filter. As a result, shutter speeds are always slow and a stable camera is necessary (although stabilization can provide what is needed if shutter speeds are not too slow). If I need a shutter speed like 1/125 sec for prop blur, then I have to resort to an ND filter.

Although I still may use an ND filter for long exposures, especially if I want exposures in the seconds. I will take some LiveND shots and then add ND filters. I often wind up just using the LiveND shots because they are long enough exposures to obtain the effect I want. And that simplifies the processing.

Is this feature on my Olympus E-M5 mark III? If so is it called something different in the manual index? Thanks

Refinanced my house with Wells Fargo a few years back through a special promotion they offered. Noticed my account being drained. Upon investigation someone had put in a wrong date and the computer was taking a payment a day to catch up to the proper date. Hours on the phone, bank manager in tears to correct. Cancelled as soon as I could. That sure would pay off any mortgage in a short time!

Enjoyed the pics. One of the greatest places yo visit on the face of the Earth. Never saw this pic so thought I would chime in. Another view

Congratulations to Sam on this accomplishment. I still cherish my Eagle Scout Card signed by President Lyndon Johnson. I also give credit, as mentioned somewhere above, to the leaders of our troop and explorer post. Two very dedicated men who each gave to the program long after their own sons were gone. Buy, most credit goes to my mother. I think she wanted the Eagle Scout Pin more than I wanted the Eagle Scout Badge. Her perseverance lead me down a path that continues today. Wear the badge proudly, Sam.

Honestly, my thoughts in looking back, are if I would have been smart enough to forego any professional advancements and live my whole life in that solitude.

Always been confused about aftermarket lenses for my E-M5 III. Are there any? Do I need some sort of adapter? Would like all functions to work like the Original Equipment. Thanks for the help.

I came “ That Close” to becoming the State Park Ranger here in 1973. Made the decision to keep my then current job or pack up and move. Kept the job and all turned up good. Always wondered, though, “What If?”

...and its edge lies a quarter mile outside (beautiful) Crescent Junction, Utah. Luckily, at the edge of this flat world, there is at least railroad communication between the 'up' side and the 'down' side, so one is not completely separate from the other. Confessedly, however, though I did edge my way down along the tracks, and downward toward the curved edge, I did not attempt to continue on down to the earth's underside. It is therefore not possible for me to state what gravity (that force that makes apples fall 'downwards' out of trees) might do down there. Just nearing the edge was scary enough.

Not a creative pic by any standard but, I could not resist posting. Noting the edge of the world being in Utah I am forced to inform everyone that the Center of the Universe is in Idaho. This proves it indeed is a small world!

Thank you very very much.

Enjoyed the pics. I will Google for history of the estate. Perhaps of note I grew up in San Carlos. Not far from Chrystal Springs and thus estate. Must have been 7th or 8th grade (1960?)I attended a birthday party at this estate. I believe the father of the birthday girl was a caretaker there. I remember swimming in a pool with an endless supply of water entering one end and exiting the other. The estate was not open to the public at that time and I believe family was still living there. Google check will confirm but I want to remember an interesting family dynamic at the estate. It is now a County or State Park? Will visit next time in SF Bay Area. Thanks again for the pics and letting me reminisce about my youth.
