Here’s what we rode. Not taken with a cellphone. Nikon D90, (don’t mean to hijack your threat) at Galena Summit. I’m not sure I had an iPhone back then. The red one is my wife’s and the yellow one is mine. We hung up our helmets a few years ago after moving back to Alaska. It was boring after all the great riding we did in the Pacific Northwest. Idaho was great and we miss it. The Treasure Valley has sure grown since we left.

Nice picture! The picture of me on the bike were taken with a regular camera, might have been with my Nikon S9700 Coolpix, or my friends Canon?
It was taken by the Grandjean overlook on Highway 21
I sure do miss riding, but then again I really miss being younger like back then.

Nice job with the photo. Do you ride? I ride a 2018 Harley Breakout 107. Today I am going to take the bike for a short spin. First time in a few months due to a back injury. No not from the bike. I ride with the American Legion Riders. I love the AI. and generate in photoshop. Just checking out ON1 so far very interesting. Have a great week.
Johnny

I used to ride, but because of neuropathy in my feet and hands I had to give it up afew years, I was 71. I'm 75 now and just had my right hop replaced, left was last year. The last Harley I had was 2006 Electra Glide that I had the engine modified, fun bike. my 3rd bHarley, after 2 Yamaha Virago's.

First of all beautiful pup. Great photos you captured and composed the shot well. No I have not tried that editing program. I use Bridge and Photoshop and am trying to learn ON1. I also shoot with a Samsung Ultra but a 23 not a 24. Keep us posted how it works.
Johnny

Thank you! The pup is Maggie Mae. I believe the S23 Ultra should have the same updates from what I heard.

These photos are from 2006, a photographer took and we could download them. My friend like the pictureexcept for the photo bomb dude.
For this kind of altering pictures I think AI is great. AllI had to do was click on the object, hit delete, and generate. The stars in the bottom left corner indicates it's been AI altered.

The latest software update seems to have improved AI photo editing for the Galaxy S24 series smartphones.
While having lunch on a restaurant patio I took this picture of our Doodle. I decided to try the AI editing feature and found it to be quite adequate for a quick edit. I wanted to remove the leash. When zoomed in to 100% size you can see some blurring. But for sharing a photo via social media I though it wasn't too bad.
Has anyone else played with mobile phone AI editing?

Same with the payboo card from B&H. I can get 12 months to pay for a $6000.00 purchase with NO interest charges.

Good to know, I haven't bought anything major from them for some time. First time I saw the PayBoo option.

I didn't want another Card since I do have several and one I mostly use (to get the points) for any purchase through PayPal.

I've only used PayPal to pay for any B&H purchases. I use the PayPal Credit option which allows me to pay over 6 months. If paid off by then no interest charges.

I never put anywhere near that amount of thought in to it.
Basically I wanted to move to a full frame camera so went with a Canon Mirrorless model.

I mostly miss my "youth".
After both hips being replaced (which turned out well) but dealing with neuropathy in my feet and hands, that's what I miss the most.

*Newer cars, not just new. Ford's Sync 3 began offering this in 2017. Others probably did too.

My car is 9+ years old, 2015 Fusion which doesn't have Sync 3, but I do have the phone synced, I even then do I seldom answer a call, that's what voice mail is for. I don't understand why I see so many people on there phones in really new vehicles!
As far as music I use a small thumb drive that has over 3,000 of my favorite music on it.

I'll still use my Great Paper System. :-)

I do have a Garmin GPS that is in my car that's always on. But these day I much prefere GOOGLE MAPS GPS, it's much easier to program a route. I would love to be able to have it run through my cars dash monitor.

I like cell phones and the internet but I could do without social media (which is the real problem).

Social Media is only a problem if you let be a problem. You don't have to sign up for any of them.
There're many reasons I like mine:
Reading the news,
Keeping track of appointments via my calendar,
GPS,
Taking pictures,
Looking up information,
Even making a phone call now & then,
I quickly put mine on silent if I'm in a meeting, restaurant etc,

It hasn't been mentioned, and of course it's an extra expense, but a tugboat escorting each ship through would also take care of the problem. They're not inexpensive and you'd need two, so one would be available while the other was down for repairs.

I did mention that, and there were a couple tugs that apparently got the ship from the pier and headed in the generally correct direction, but then left. I think they should have escorted those types of ships (any large ship) past that bridge.

Right, the history is well documented. So 1960's technology was used in the design of the bridge.

Check out what cargo ships were like in the 1960's...
