Thanks for the input. I am now researching in camera settings and post editing to help as while the GoPro does have filters available, these were shot while scuba diving requiring the underwater case for the GoPro. The camera would not fit in the case with the filter attached.

Have you considered MS OneDrive? In addition to back up, gives you access to your photos from multiple devices (iPhone, iPad etc.). You can easily And securely share photos with others as well.

Thanks to all for the input and advice. After all, I did go with the 5600 and will invest in a good lense as suggested. I am not a professional though I have been fortunate to capture images others have asked to purchase ( for framing and personal home display/ decoration).
I will alo consentrate on learning the fundamentals, craft and art of photography to get to the point where my ulterior are more predictable as opposed to “fortunate”.

I did a South Africa trip late spring this year with extended family. We used African Safari Group and our agent was Zane Posthumus. As we were on a family vacation, it would have been inappropriate to make it all about photography and I believe that is what made it so special for me as I was able to capture beautiful and memorable photos with the emphasis on capturing an experience as opposed to a photo shoot!
We went on several Safaris and experienced Capetown and the Cape of Good Hope.
