Not a lot of pink in my archives, but plenty of red...
Great shots especially love the ‘59 Vette.

With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought we could could highlight the colors of the season: red and pink. I'd like to see pictures that have these colors predominate. The subject can be anything, but red or pink should pop. Have fun!
Some flowers to begin
Being from Nebraska Red is my go to color, so here’s my Big Red “40 Mercury convertible.
I’ll be serious. Really! Not knowing the size is a problem, but it is a mini shotgun mic clamp that attaches to a rubber isolated mic mount going on the top of either a dslr or another kind of video camera. I have used several over the years and they all were variants of this.
Happy New Year!
I would keep it as a heirloom. I have many great memories using a speed graphic serving in the Navy in the ‘50’s. The best one was when I was on the USS Northampton which was the flagship for the 2nd Fleet,(3 star Adm), the ship had metal decks which got slippery when they were wet. One day the Chief of Naval Operations came aboard, with him was Princess Lilliane of Belgium. It had been raining and the decks were wet and I was shooting with the 4x5 speed graphic using the Tri-X film pack which had as I remember 12 shots per pack. Backing up in front of them as they came aboard I stepped on the edge of one of the safety markers around the gun emplacement and my foot slipped out from under me, fell flat on my back knocked out cold. When I came to the Princess was kneeling down holding my head in her lap and the Admiral was gathering up the camera and broken flash unit. They stayed on the ship until they knew I was okay.

Nice model too. Who made it?
We had a little visitor yesterday. Its Mom dropped it off while she went to look for some food I guess. Cute little guy, couldn't be more than a couple of days old by the way it was unsteady on its feet. It was the smallest fawn I have ever seen, about the size of a small dog, except for the long legs. Found the shade of a fairly large Yucca plant in our yard and stayed for at least 8 hours. We quit watching for Mom to come back until after dark. It was gone in the morning so we are guessing, certainly hoping, that Mom came back and fed it. We have a herd of about 15 or so Whitetails that frequent our place in the woods. Fun to watch but they eat every green thing you try to grow.

Thanks and interesting observation. I thought about it but this particular lake is located in a golf community. The lake is used for model yacht racing. If you look closely you’ll see about 4 or 5 more buoys. My decision to leave it in was based on showing the calmness of the water. While the foreground of the lake looks like water ripples, it’s actually the reflection of the sky. I just thought it was an important part of the composition to leave it in. This was a sunrise. Thanks for checking it out and your comment.

Either way it's a beauty!

Up and out of the Valley, east of home. Rumor has it that we may see some sun in a month or three.
I think sun would change the mood of the shot and change it into a pretty scenic rather than a cold winter scene, not that pretty would be bad, just not as moody and would lose the effect which is rather cool. Pun intended.
You are sure right about the artist. We can only look with awe at his wonders. The photo is an amazing capture of it, the only thing that could possibly improve it would be to get rid of the can or buoy in the lower right of the frame. Looks out of place amid the rest of the beauty.
The Kingfishers are amazing. So hard to get anything with them, but the Snowy Egret is the best. nothing in the background to distract and the backlighting on the wings makes them glow. Wonderful shot!

Cool bus Bluefish! It's a beauty! I have had 4 of them over my lifetime and am very happy to say I've never been in a head on collision with any of them!
I saw a couple of them last weekend sell at the Barrett Jackson auction at over 100K. Who'd a thought it.

I 2nd jliane, I like the sky better in the first because it looks more natural. But both images seem to have a lot of graduation in the sky. Perhaps the effect of polarization either natural or due to a filter.
When I look at it I see the same sky in both. The pano just got compressed. I have a few pano shots I'll have to try one in Luminar 4 to see if I can reproduce the problem. Try to set the size of the second one the same as the first and see if it doesn't stretch it back out.

Bold Colors, always a touch of Gold, exotic poses. Imari Collection at Replacements, LTD.
I have been in Replacements several times never thought about shooting anything. Nice shots.
I agree the Micro cards are a pain, but I have to use them in my drones. When you take them out they are on a spring of some kind and will often pop right out of your hand. So far I haven't lost any, but I'm sure at some time I will and of course it will be the best footage or photos ever. I shoot 4K video with them so there isn't any performance difference that I can see, but size is the issue. Of course the drone cameras are so small they are about the width of the regular SD card.
