I wanted to change the sky on a landscape panorama taken in June 2017. When I loaded it in Luminar 4 my picture kind of got condensed. Nikon D500 24-120mm f4 iso 400 120mm 1/6400 4 pic merged in LR. I have a lot more I want to change for the fun of it. By the way that's Pike's Peak

That's a lot of distortion. Doesn't even look like the same mountain.

If you didn't know that the second pic was extracted from the first and you didn't know that was Pikes Peak then you would not think it was distorted at all. It's just another beautiful mountain.

It looks like the aspect ratio was changed. It’s ok to do that if you want to but you should be in control of it. There should be a setting for that.

Glad you are having fun! Keep having fun! πŸ˜€πŸ˜ƒ

And that's quite a shot of Pike's Peak!

Not exactly "making a mountain out of a mole hill", but kinda like Pikes Peak on steroids.

I 2nd jliane, I like the sky better in the first because it looks more natural. But both images seem to have a lot of graduation in the sky. Perhaps the effect of polarization either natural or due to a filter.

When I look at it I see the same sky in both. The pano just got compressed. I have a few pano shots I'll have to try one in Luminar 4 to see if I can reproduce the problem. Try to set the size of the second one the same as the first and see if it doesn't stretch it back out.
