I called this one "Another random set of photos from Huntington Beach" because after looking through hundreds of photos in my Huntington Beach file I wanted to share some of them with my UHH friends that I thought were worthy of your attention for some reason or another.
Of course they all look best in download mode!

Brent, you captured the feel of the beach scene and presented some wonderful wave shots. Love that shot of the young one and dad.

I agree with Mike, it's good to see another generation coming up. Wonder what their equipment will look like?

Thanks Mike for checking this out and your positive response to them all. That young one with his dad doesn't have a chance of not being a future surfer.

Curmudgeon, my guess is the equipment won't change all that much in the next generation. Here's what I have seen over my years of surfing:
1. single fins to three fins
2. surf leashes
3. shorter boards
4. pre shaped boards

Cool bus Bluefish! It's a beauty! I have had 4 of them over my lifetime and am very happy to say I've never been in a head on collision with any of them!

Everyone has fond memories of their days with VW campers, buses and vans. They also know about dead batteries and how to do kick in gear starts with them! lol

Everyone my age had a beetle. Mine was a ‘57, last year of the single small window. About 1995 there was a beetle parked outside our clinic in MN. I called my nurse over to see the beetle. I said, “Remember how cramped it was in the back seat?” She blushed and walked out of the room.
