I have a Z6 and bought Z50 for my wife as lighter camera. I have used both for over a year and leave my 50-250 one(which is light) and my 24-70 on the other. Very satisfied- will stay out of the DSLR vs Mirrorless debate. I feel both meet my needs in NC and on 2 trips to Africa.I mainly shoot for pleasure but do some paid work also.

Have used extensively - worked well in Africa 9/22- light weight - great range - no complaints!
Bought Mac mini with 16 G Ram - works well with my BenQ monitor- cheaper than laptop-needed 16 G Ram to run LR CC newer masking features- Use my laptop for trips- Cost about $1100
Bought Z50 with Z lens kit as backup for safaris in Africa to avoid lens change - worked well- excellent value!
Also has become my carry around camera for walks etc.

Two safari weeklong trips - did not see need for tripod except for nighttime use with long shutter speed to catch stars- no room in vehicles which you cant leave - also space and weight considerations-two cameras with diff focal lengths -Dont change lens when out- monopod could work- have fun!!
