This is clearly a juvenile but I can't be certain from the visible field marks whether it is a Cooper's or Sharp-shinned Hawk. These two species look so similar. Photo was taken in the southern Willamette Valley of Oregon.

This species is difficult to photograph due to its constant movements. I was lucky.
