Beautiful image, floridareel and is any part of loop road paved. I had intended to ask Gregory but never got around to doing so. About four years ago we camped at the Big Cypress Campground overnight when we were on our way from the Everglades to the Gulf side and the people in the campsite beside us said that they had been on Loop Road and their camper van which was very similar to our Dodge 3500 van that had been converted by Road Trek into a compact camper. They seemed to have made it ok and was just a little dusty and dirty and think that it late February or early March but if it has deep ruts as I saw on a video taken in Fakahatchee Strand I don't want to take it on! Many thanks! (Swamp-Cork) Corky!

Yes in fact there are about 15 miles of paved road if you travel from East to West. If you enter from the western side (where monroe station used to be) it's a dirt road.
You should be able to cross with no issues the dirt road is in good shape. We actually saw a few tourist driving down in rental Corvettes and mustangs.
