Love the greens and reds I was able to pull off the RAW image.
Hope you enjoy
Beautiful image, floridareel and is any part of loop road paved. I had intended to ask Gregory but never got around to doing so. About four years ago we camped at the Big Cypress Campground overnight when we were on our way from the Everglades to the Gulf side and the people in the campsite beside us said that they had been on Loop Road and their camper van which was very similar to our Dodge 3500 van that had been converted by Road Trek into a compact camper. They seemed to have made it ok and was just a little dusty and dirty and think that it late February or early March but if it has deep ruts as I saw on a video taken in Fakahatchee Strand I don't want to take it on! Many thanks! (Swamp-Cork) Corky!

Yes in fact there are about 15 miles of paved road if you travel from East to West. If you enter from the western side (where monroe station used to be) it's a dirt road.
You should be able to cross with no issues the dirt road is in good shape. We actually saw a few tourist driving down in rental Corvettes and mustangs.

Many thanks for the info, floridareel and I do have several water tanks under the van, but still quite a bit of clearance. I watched a youtube video last night where you could almost get lost in the ruts and the young couple became almost lost in the darkness and was driving on something that hardly resembled a trail as it was so grown up, and by the time they finally made it out think that they would have almost kissed the ground! Thanks again and take care!

I actually saw a 18 wheeler driving down loop road from east to west, there was a accident on US41 and the officer probably told the driver to make a u turn but he failed to understand and instead continued down Loop Road.
