Well, I just screwed up and went to post my challenge, but had forgotten to note the URL!

So, briefly this time, there's all kinds of topics, all kinds of shapes and sizes, all kinds of styles, all kinds of emotions etc etc.

Here are some of mine and I'm looking forward to see what you folks have recorded over the years.

This is a really great topic. Thank you for hosting. I'm really enjoying all the great photography.

Like your start here, Pat. So do they just add a little clove, and nutmeg to your peanut butter so they can call it Pumpkin Spice

Seems like every church that I pass, around here anyway, has their very own pumpkin patch. Must be good for blessing the bottom line. They have rows of the orange gourds laid out so you can view them all and pick out yours or your kiddo’s very favorite. So I had to stop by ours to check it out.

I also have a giant cactus I started a few years ago that I got from the side of the road. Maybe a foot long piece someone had thrown out. Wow, was I surprised when it grew and grew, and started blooming! Mine is a night bloomer, and these photos are from last summer. We had to cut some off due to the fact that it was getting up under the eve's of the house. I have to get out there at daylight to see the blooms while they are open, they close as the sun gets to them. And they smell heavenly. What about yours?

Took this on my walk this morning. Several different cacti have that same flower. One is the cardon that looks similar to a saguaro and the hedgehog also.

You addressed a lot of the same issues that I have and expressed them in a very thoughtful way. I appreciate the references for more info and am anxious to try them. Thank you for a great post.
