Time for a new challenge. I love to take pictures of flowers and since I know not all plants have flowers on them as of yet the idea came to me that if no flowers were you live as yet you can show plants that will flower. If they have buds on them better yet. I hope to get to some of me picture before the challenge is done with some plants that just have buds on them.

Its a Dwarf Bottlebrush. Its an evergreen popular in landscaping here in the Tucson area.

Botanical Name:
Callistemon viminalis Little John
Plant size:
5 – 8cm
Pot size:
50mm pot.
Max growth:
Approximately 1 – 2m high and 1.5m wide.
Description:
The Dwarf Bottlebrush is a drought tolerant and moderately frost tolerant plant John’ is a dwarf cultivar which produces masses of dark red flowers, and has attractive blue green foliage with a slightly soft, furry appearance.
Uses:
“Little John” can also be used as a small hedge or border and will attract birds to your garden. The compact size is a fantastic addition to any Native garden bed as a foreground feature.

WOW, Hawk, I'd say you've got a number of flowering shrubs. Can almost smell them
