I bought a LECTRIC E-Bike on September 1, 2021 and When FedEx picked it up in Phoenix, Arizona, after a Pick-up was ordered, it took 5 days to get to my home in Michigan, arrived September 16, 2021. So with all the "SHIPPING-DELAYS", IT WAS ONLY 5 FEDEX SHIPPING DAYS, It was 11 days from order date to the actual ready for Pickup date. Not FedEx fault. The box was 75 pounds too.I had FREE SHIPPING too.

Till it goes toes up! You can check the manufacturer's shutter life estimate for particular cameras on line. They will likely be conservative, and probably bear little resemblance to actual individual camera survival.

I was told on this site Count on 80,000 to 100,000 Shutter Open & Close Cycle, for my Used Nikon D3300. I was told I have approximately 6000 at present time

Silverrails the Nikon D3300 does not have CLS Commander mode.
You'll need a solution like the Nikon SU-800 (which provides CLS Commander support for the D3300.)
Then you can use your SB-800 Off Camera

Or other third party solutions.
Please be certain to test before you purchase third party kit (or purchase from a vendor that allows returns)

Sorry I don't have experience with the D3300, however I do have experience with the SU-800 and you can download its user's manual from Nikon's web site.

Hope this helps silverrails

Yes, must look into finding a Used
SU-800 Flash Commander to go to with my SB-800 Flash.

A sad sight but a nice set, Hal.

Yes, Days have gone Bye, and so we Sigh, to say Good-bye to these Dwellings of Hay & Horses, Cows & Corn, and all the Farmers Tools. Sad as Fewer & Fewer of these once Majestic structures fade away into History.

Oh, no! Sounds like Ford versus Chevy discussions!

Yea, Ford was making Cars before any of the other companies, Hand-built, the variety of the early parts were bought to the car in a specific stall, around 1910 in Detroit, years before the 1st moving assembly line, built by Ford in the newly built Highland Park assembly plant just a few miles north of Detroit, Michigan.

I'm using BorrowLens.com to rent a telephoto lens.
I already own a Nikkor 70-200 2.8, but I'm contemplating renting something with more reach (not knowing the field/parent restrictions)
I am torn between these two....any suggestions?
1. Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR Lens - about $130
2. Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E AF-S ED VR Lens - about $80

My thought was #1 is kind of doubling up on the focal length I already have, but may save me from switching lens.
Then again, #2 can get me across the field more (as I dont know what seating will be like)

Thoughts?

I would suggest a TRIPOD for both #1 and #2

I have had difficulty editing this photo. The Sunstar is brighter than the card players, who are the main subject of the photo. Any thoughts on how to shift focus to the card players?

Be brutal in your criticism if appropriate. Thanks.

To me, that does not look to be a Natural Sun Flare, Man-made with specialty Filter? If So, lose the Filter 1st.
If that is not the issue, make sure you try Manual Mode and play with the setting, including Exposure Compensation.

Just trying BIF. Any help would be appreciated. Canon 80D with 100-400L lens.

As I consider myself to be an Advanced Beginner, I would say, Maybe the ISO, although the Sky is rather Dark, so I really will look forward to a Professional Photograph's determination of this Image.

- - thanks, I have never learned how to check my exact "Shutter-Count", so I have been quite stingy (One at a Time) shooting images, never shoot continuously, like a Machine Gun. Very Picky about my Shots.

Looking at all the great pictures on here I have been attempting to obtain a shot as good as what I've seen . So here's a few to scrutinize. THey were all shot hand held and no pp.
Thank you

Very Nice Images, although I am thinking the Focus is not perfect, It could be your Eyes, could be the Lens, could be the Camera. Maybe Aperture is too Low, looks like it might be 1.8mm on the Camera setting, Just increase your aperture to maybe 5.6 or higher if necessary, you will increase your D.O.F. which is one factor in having a correct Focus in your image.

Just bought a Nikon D3300 Body only, Used, which the seller said it only has "234 Clicks", paid $235.00 +Shipping + Tax = $265.00. Considering the low Shutter count, I feel I got a good Deal.
