There are a variety of 'stories' about the naming of Utah's Dead Horse Point State Park, and needless to say, almost all of them involve a dead horse. I won't go into each of those stories (since most simply don't pass the smell test), but I'm here to tell ya, a dead horse was indeed involved, only it wasn't up there on the Point. And hoo-eee, was it smelly!
