She has a great taste, you better get it for her or you’ll be sleeping on the couch.

I wanted to check the MEI/EMI(?) number of my new phone, so I entered it on a look-up site. Up popped one of those screen blockers. "There is a problem with your computer! Call Microsoft!" Fortunately, I was able to click on the tab, close it, and continue working. I'm surprised that Defender didn't warn me about that site. I wonder how many people call the number and pay to have their computers fixed.

I have received an email that I purchased an item to be delivered next day priced $540.00 and I was billed through my PayPal account. I have not ordered anything for that amount and my PayPal account is being closed for the past three years. There is a phone number to call, but no one answers it. Please be aware of this scam.

If you can find a copy of "A World Through My Window" by Ruth Orkin, It would be a wonderful gift.
Ruth Orkin was a very gifted (and much Collected) Photographer, who had a side project of photographs from her window.
It would give her inspiration to start immediately

I have read this amazing book and been inspired by all of those people that contributed photos and stories while they were locked in their homes due to Covid. I would recommend giving it to her as a get well gift.

Wow, an Elephant induced compact car

This is an actual photo my son’s mother in law has taken while in an African safari. I just cropped it some to look more realistic.

I have asked myself this recently and I am reading a book that among other things, promises to “ and finish with how to find your purpose in photography.”

That is a bold claim and something I have asked myself more than once. There is no single answer of course, because it is subjective subject.

So I am curious, what do readers here say in response to “What is your purpose in photography?“

Something to show friends and family. Historical documents. I m retired and photography gives me something to do.

Man, these folks are spending a huge amount of money on ads! You can hardly watch TV without one of their ads coming up in just about every break and I get at least 20 to 30 e-mail ads a week as well. Now they have even re-branded the product to pull in male customers by calling it "Mando." Personally, I would rather stink than buy this product due to all the annoying ads! Just wondering if anyone else here is sick of hearing about it as well and needed to vent a bit. Good luck and good photography to all.

I believe my TV set is being programmed to show commercials when I turn it on. It’s annoying that commercials are taking over the programs we are supposed to be watching. Since we pay monthly fees for cable television we should have control of what we watch.

Any info on this location will be highly appreciated for sure. Never heard of this location, new to the business or just another bait and switch joint?
Anyone with dealings please leave a comment about this shop. Looking to purchase the Canon G9 X mark ii.

Thanks to all....

Brooklyn- Camera

I have done business with tri-state from Brooklyn just recently. I purchased a canon r100 camera and few days after I received it I returned it with no problem at all. The reason was I found out the r50 had better features from the r100, the r50 was purchased from Amazon. Tri-State in Brooklyn has been in business since 2002 and the sales person I communicated was very gracious and helpful. I am not associated with their establishment, just wanted to clear any confusion.

My wife thought it was very funny and asked me to share it with our friend sitting next to her, I had to get off the recliner and I let some gas. They both laughed loudly. I don’t know why they were laughing.

Below is a photo -- there are two aspects of the cassette and pencil relationship. Can you name them?

I know the answer but since I’m way over 30 I can’t posted it. I don’t know if I would like to be 30 again, the world is very confusing with all the computers around.

Looks like a scam to me, especially since I have no idea who these people are. The e-mail address looks funny too. It's is sent to 100's of email addresses, (many looking like e-mail lists from companies like Macafee), that look like they were copied and hope that someone would be dumb enough to respond.

I had a similar issue with Walmart, supposedly my order for internet security services have been renewed and they were going to charge me $299.00 for secure transaction. It’s been hard to believe, but unfortunately they get away with some people.
