When “camera dealer” and “Brooklyn, NY” are mentioned in the same breath - avoidance is the best recommendation. Just check out their less than sterling reviews. There are many reputable dealers including B&H, Adorama, Roberts etc. where you can purchase Canon cameras - is a supposedly lower price attracting you? Camera retail prices are set by the manufacturer - reputable, authorized dealers are required to stick to those prices.

You might not find anyone here who used them, based on a quick internet search. They seem to be a grey market outfit who may or may not reveal that. Very mixed reviews. If you are willing to buy grey market you would probably still do better to order from trusted dealers like B&H who also sell grey market for a lower price but reveal that fact.

The Name TriState camera has been around New York for many years in many locations, this is the first I've heard of a Brooklyn Location. They have never enjoyed a good reputation.
There are a half dozen good reputable camera dealers with good reputations. Buy from one of them or a good local store that you know.
The usual reason this question comes up is because someone sees a price that is too good to be true and is looking for a reason to pull the trigger...... Usually that is a mistake.

Before considering Abe’s of Maine - check reviews on them as well. Or simply stick with the major reputable dealers like B&H, Adorama, Roberts. If you also wanted to see what’s available on the used market, add KEH and MPB to the list.

Abe's is a well know scam outfit. Most of use know that, and CHG_CANON is "joking". He's been warned before that if he keeps touting Abe's that someone will take him seriously.
