Well said, I too was there '67 to '68, @ Phù Cát Air Base as a photographer. Shot stills all over the II Corp area, I made a decision to leave all of my negatives w/ the commanding Col, because of the descriptive content,
a decision I do not regret to this day, the memories also do not fade.

I am a retired professional photog. I've bought from KEH since they started, I'd guesstimate
I've spent more than 20k with them. I have nothing but praise for them, never had one issue
with everything I've bought from them, just the best !!!

An Irishman walks into a bar in Dublin, orders three pints of Guinness and sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more. The bartender approaches and tells him, "You know, a pint goes flat after I draw it, and it would taste better if you bought one at a time." The Irishman replies, Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in America, the other is in Australia, and I'm in Dublin. When we all left home, we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days we drank together. So I drink one for each o'me brothers and one for me self." The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there. The Irishman becomes a regular in the bar, and always drinks the same way: He orders three pints and drinks them in turn. One day, he comes in and orders two pints. All the other regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, "I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss." The Irishman looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns and he laughs. "Oh, no, everybody's just fine," he explains, "It's just that me wife had us join that Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking. But it hasn't affected me brothers though."

Guy: Can I buy you a drink?
Girl: Sorry, but alcohol is bad for my legs.
Guy: Do they swell?
Girl: No. They spread.

The other night I was invited out for a night with "the girls."
I told my husband that I would be home by midnight. "I promise!"
Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easy.
Around 3 a.m., a bit blitzed, I headed for home.
Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed 3 times.
Quickly realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times.
I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution (even when totally smashed), in order to escape a possible conflict with him.
The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, and I told him midnight.
He didn't seem disturbed at all. (Whew! Got away with that one!).
Then he said, "We need a new cuckoo clock."
When I asked him why, he said, "Well, last night our clock cuckooed 3 times, then said, "Oh, crap," cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another 3 times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the cat and farted."

An Irishman, Englishman and Scotsman go into a pub and each order a pint of Guinness. Just as the bartender hands them over, three flies buzz down and one lands in each of the pints. The Englishman looks disgusted, pushes his pint away and demands another pint. The Scotsman picks out the fly, shrugs, and takes a long swallow. The Irishman reaches in to the glass, pinches the fly between his fingers and shakes him while yelling, "Spit it out, ya bastard! Spit it out!"

I shoot Raw & Jpeg because I use the Jpeg like the old contact sheet for editing & culling images with lesser impact because they load faster, anything I keep I process from RAW (old habits are hard to break).

I am a life long Pro Photog, now retired almost 20 years & I for one do not miss the darkroom, wet process one bit. Coming home smelling of Fixer, manipulating printing the best way still has it's limits before it starts to look fake. We were among the first to use digital in the late 80's, there is so much more that can be done in digital post processing than the wet process. Would never go back, don't miss it at all...!

What the heck is up with all the ads showing up on my fav. blog (Ug Hhog), they're at the beginning and throughout the whole page. How can I turn them off? I may have to find something else to read, I refuse to have advertising pushed on me.
