Exactly. Get a digital mirrorless, appropriate lens adapter, and shoot away with unlimited digital files leveraging all the enabling mirrorless technologies.
I totally agree. I recently purchased an adaptor to use my 60+ year old Minolta Rokkor 55mm f1.8 lens on my Canon mirrorless camera. I'm having a lot of fun using this old lens and getting some excellent results.
I still have the Minolta SR-1 camera that it came with so if I ever get the urge to shoot film again, I'm all set.
On the menu select the wrench screen2. The third item is Mode guide. Set this to disable.
I've been going to Cardinal Camera in Lansdale, PA since 1971. The have never let me down.
I have an R10 and have not experienced this problem. I use only OEM batteries. The battery I have in it now has been in for about a month and still shows a full charge. Do you have the latest firmware installed? Perhaps a call to Canon is in order. BTW, the R10 is a great camera.
I think you may not understand exactly what the new policy is. I also have a Zenfolio website, and my understanding is that they will archive galleries that have not been updated after a certain period of time. They will allow you to mark up to 20 galleries as do not archive. Also, any galleries that are accessible via your site menus will not be archived. Any gallery that is archived can be restored upon request. You can prevent archiving by simply making periodic changes to your galleries.
You're right, well written software would not allow you to make this mistake.
I switched from Firefox to Edge several years ago and am glad I did. It's an excellent browser. Never tried Chrome because of all the reasons you said.
It is possible to get a KM DualScan IV to work on Windows 7, 10 or 11 without buying any additional software. I have done it. You just need to replace the original driver with a new one. The instructions in this link are for Windows Vista, but the driver code included works for 7, 10 and 11. The only caveat is that you need to restart Windows in a troubleshooting mode that allows bypassing the signature check during the installation.
I have happily used this wonderful scanner from when I bought for my XP computer up through an upgrade to 11 a few weeks ago. Each upgrade did require me to reinstall the new driver.

The guy had $60 in his pocket before the first buy.
That's all the money he had in the world.
After the last sale he had $90 in his pocket.
Sounds like a $30 profit to me.
Of course the IRS will want to know if
it was long term or short term.
If the man had only $60 to his name when he made the first purchase, he would not have enough to buy it back for $80 after selling for only $70.
The answer is $20.
I've made a few steroscopes using a single camera - just move it a few inches (about the space between your eyes) between exposures. Of course, this only works for things that don't move. Good luck and have fun.

I take a lot of bird photo's and have been asked for a book of bird photo's. I recently purchased a years subscription of Zenfolio, but they do not have an option for Photo Books when ordering from a lab.
TIA
I also have a Zenfolio account, and they absolutely have an option to purchase photo books. You need to enable selling in the gallery and turn on the shop pages when setting up the page layout options. For books I recommend using a thumbnail page.
I bought one to mount my fast Rokkor prime lenses on my Canon camera. I was disappointed because the focus is soft (a bit of a halo) until I close down the lenses a couple of stops. That kind of defeats my purpose for buying it. Having said that, the fit and finish is very good.
I've attached a couple samples taken with my auto Rokker 55mm 1.8 lens stopped down to f8 on a Canon 3Ti.
Tamron SP 24-70 2.8 G2 is my go to lens for most situations. When I don't need the speed and weight would be a problem I use the Canon EF-S 17-55 kit lens that came with my T3i.
