Driving to Pendleton near sundown, the smoke was darkest near the valley floor. Soon after this shot, the sun disappeared into the smoke and not the horizon.
Thanks Bill, I have some player from Amazon essential tripod if I can find them after our move. I may be able to modify one of them. Here's hoping and thank you.
I have the same camera and have had it for years. Only have the one lens.
Sunpak Pro 523Px. ISO
It's a nice tripod, so if any one might have a plate to sell.
Usually there would be a round, wide tank on a hill to provide city water. But, our mountains are too far from town, and hills are a ways away and not high enough. Thus we get a tall tower, 60+ feet by estimation. The old tank tower is this picture.
I made a 11x14 canvas
Maybe a bigger one is in the future. Thank you
Yes, and i took some pictures of the dredge this summer.
Construction completed on the water tower and i wanted to get a photo before they painted it. People have suggested we have a mural painted on it. When i took the photo, the clouds were a plus.
C&C welcomed.
There is a wealth of information here if I can retain it. I appreciate it all, keep it coming.
Now I have a ton of 400 and 800 color film I want to work on also. Just taking in all I can.
I am also considering canvas printing, but don't know yet what printer to get.
Thanks again my friends!
I just got 3 rolls of this film, and I must have been living in a cave as I never heard of this. Information I find is not complete. Now, what is the advantage to doing C-41 process?
One of the wildest nights here, with the outside colors yellow, grabbed my camera and headed out, things were changing fast, and I wanted to get to a favorite spot. The nimbus clouds were beautiful, the I found my memory card was full, my battery was in the red. Things were failing fast, found a battery, found a card, couldn't get the package open, sweating bullets now. Finally got it out and loaded, and started snapping. So, got the tail end of one of the best sun settings I have seen.
Using a telephoto 1/30th at F16. After getting Jupiter in sight with my D5600. I could see a moon of Jupiter sparkling but not big enough to see for the photo. Downloaded to my phone, the little Jupiter picture I enlarged on my phone.
This area went through a tremendous fire the year before, plus I had to snap without much opportunity to do any changing things, as my wife was driving.
I didn't think the shot was that great, but I liked the angles of the hills and winding road. Thank you for your comment, much appreciated .
Left Bridgeport and came out this road to Hwy 30 to Baker City.
