A suggestion, the snow should be white and to my eyes it tends to be gray. The dark areas should be black they tend to be dark gray.
A simple Curves adjustment should fix that.

This area went through a tremendous fire the year before, plus I had to snap without much opportunity to do any changing things, as my wife was driving.
I didn't think the shot was that great, but I liked the angles of the hills and winding road. Thank you for your comment, much appreciated .

I really like the photo! Very good composition. And, yes, I agree, the angles of the hills and the winding road are appealing aspects of the image.
