Check eBay. This seller claims to be an authorized dealer, has a lot of QR plates, may be able to get one.

It is so difficult to find a sunpak pro 523px tripod release plate!!! I think that tripod is worth very much. If you can't replace a part as simple as a release plate -- your tripod isn't worth anything --- sorry, that tells most of the story. I did a search on line for you and came up with nothing to help, and if you want to take a chance of ordering something that does not fit ----

Did you try standard plate (1/4"-20male thread?) If this is the size, it is easy to order one for a few $.
