My D500 as well as the D7200 underexpose but I believe the D500 more so and it seems to make no difference which exposure mode I use. Of course exposure compensation takes care of that but the amount of compensation needed is not the same for every image. A little underexposure is fine but too much introduces noise when lightening the image in post processing.
I did notice more underexposure on my first time out with the D500. Still have a lot to learn.
Bought a used D500 to improve on my d7100. First day noticed the difference right away. Also noticed that Auto-ISO usually sets much lower values for a given shot than the D7100, and high ISO shots have less noise.
Have a look at Zoner Photo Studio (ZPS).
I ran into a problem with an update last year, and their tech support pointed me to a prior version until the issue was resolved. If your problem persists, don't hesitate to put in a ticket, I found them to be quick and effective in their response.
Make a list of candidate programs, then play with each for a week or two. Pick the one(s) that seems easiest/best to you, then commit to that program and work it! I've used this process both in selecting my photo suite (Zoner Photo studio + Topaz Denoise & Sharpen + occasional final touch-ups in Irfanview) and digital audio workstations (I finally chose Reaper). I can't tell you why I landed on these choices; its the process that's important, and it's the only way to find something that fits your brain. Other than this, I have no opinion.
Great macro! Jeff Goldblum never looked better!

You're not the only one who's fallen for this type of scam. For a little revenge, check out "scammer payback" vids on Youtube.
These are great photos! After several years of stalking the local WL refuges, I've only got one very fuzzy shot of a weasel.
