I have a PDF, a photo book I created, that I would like to share. The problem I keep running in to is that the file size, 59.9MB is too large for either my email, AOL, or Dropbox to accept. Is there any way that I can break the PDF into smaller pieces?

Have you tried One Drive?
(I've never had a file that large yet.)

From the drop box site: "All files uploaded to Dropbox can't exceed your storage space quota. There is no file size limit for files uploaded through the desktop or mobile apps, and files uploaded to dropbox.com have a maximum file size of 50 GB."

Maybe you have too much already at Drop Box...

You should be able to Zip the PDF, of course the user would need to unzip. Don't know if that helps.

I have sent larger files on Dropbox with no problems. Make sure your Dropbox is not overloaded. If it is then you must either buy more capacity or remove some of the existing files. I choose the latter.

Wetransfer.com will work.

So should Drop Box and One Drive, as long as one doesn't exceed one's allowed storage space.

Email is usually limited to 20-25Meg (depending on the provider), for the email AND all attachments.

Have you tried saving it as a compressed PDF? I'm guessing you have a lot of large images in it. Depending on your PDF creator, you may be able to save it for the intended device. Print will look best at 300dpi, but if you are having people read it on a tablet, you can do much lower and have a smaller size.

I too have sent files larger than that through DropBox. You probably have sent files languishing there taking up space.

First he should check to see if he has enough storage space remaining at Drop Box to store the file.
That would save a lot of needless work if space was the problem.

50GB is very large. You would need a paid cloud service to handle that big I would think. Free one would only let you have around 2GB of storage.

If you have an Adobe PSCC subscription, you can use their file system. Create a folder, load your book and send a link to those who you want to have access. You can specify all criteria of access.

Why don't you just convert them to jpg? Smaller and quicker.
