Nate B. How did you learn to use the app better? I uninstalled twice and still couldn't get it to work.
Thank you, that was helpful. Your exposures were better than mine; I was open about two more stops. I prefer your Exposure values.
You gave your f-stop and ISO for the totality images. Would you share your shutter speeds for those images please. Lately, I’ve been looking at exposures through the perspective of EV or exposure values.
I got some good shots but your images are outstanding. Very nice and thanks for raising the bar.
It's always easier to comment on the other guy's work. But #7 is the sweetspot, at least my opinion. And truth in packaging, I've never been able to catch the aurora yet. Nice job, congratulations!
Weehawken is the right recommendation. There’s a place along boulevard East called Hamilton Park that looks right down 42nd street across the River. The park is the site of the Hamilton-Burr duel.
Look up The Heat Company gloves at B&H. I live in Maine and gloves for photography are critical. I own a pair and I swear by them. You can put hand warmers into them so when you have to take your hands out of the gloves you put them back into nice cozy warm gloves.
If that were hiding in my van console I'd be on the lookout for mice in my vehicle.
I’ll vote for #3&4. But they all are stunning. Would you mind telling me how you get your images so vivid? Camera, lens, settings, post processing. Seeing how people do such great images is how I learn, so thank you.
Nice shot, clarity is unbelievable.
I like the shot without cropping because it tells a story about where this bird stood for a while. Cropping is about the bird but not so much about where it is. I adjusted the highlights, shadow and exposure a little to accentuate the bird. But with any post processing, it's in the eye of the one with the cursor. I have no claim to excellence.
Great shots and beautiful insects. Can you share your lens, f, speed, and ISO with me. Thanks, Ron
