The short approach to Beale Air Force Base during the arrival of the first SR-71 in 1966. I was working for the local paper and my boss wanted a silhouette of the plane as it flew over. The SR71 belly was classified. After I took the picture i noticed two pair of highly polished boots beside my head as I lay on my back. I was "escorted" to the base by the two Air Policemen. My camera was confiscated (later returned sans film) and questioned about my intent. Their lab developed the film that showed just the silhouette confirming my story. I was allowed to take a series of pictures on the flight line; one of which hung in the commanders office for a few years. My bosses pictures were on the front page, none of mine were used. The official operation began in 1967 but planes were delivered in '66 for training flight crews.

When I first picked up a camera it was a Kodak Brownie for family pictures. After High School i was a news photographer using a Leica M2 a 4 X 5 Speed Graphic and a Pentax Spotmatic. When I joined the Army I bought two new Spotmatics and a couple of lenses. I started taking pictures of the troops in the field plus the typical tourist shots of Europe when off duty. My pictures caught the eye of the Commanding officer and I became the unofficial battalion photographer. I had a high security clearance which afforded me special duty photographing classified incidents including forensic photography, even the recovery of an H Bomb off the coast of Spain. After the Army i became a commercial pilot doing some aerial photography occasionally. Later came fishing trips to Baja while working with a fishing magazine. I also was able to meet Ansel Adams in Yosemite. After my wife died I became a freelance photographer just to keep my mind busy. Presently I'm retired (72 years old) and I'm back to taking pictures of family and friends some of them being boudoir style. What kind of photographer am I? Whatever I need to be to keep myself behind a camera

I send stuff to my daughter in Massachusetts from California and it is there consistently in three days. Since my daughter won't be there i ask the package to be placed inside the entry door. The postman has done it every time. We shipped boxes of her books and albums by UPS and they never arrived. I order from Amazon and its here in two days by Post. Compared to prices in other countries our postal service is a bargain. I have a Stamps.com account and get a postage discount too.

I found this in You Tube; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K43-_zhQZiM - This is a Photoshop technique
Plus this coloring book software http://www.hothotsoftware.com/create_free_coloring_books_printable_software/ . This is currently on sale as a direct download for $29.95. I'm not affiliated with the company.
Personally I've always used the tools in Photoshop That will do basically the same thing but this seems almost painless and a lot faster. watch the video first to decide. I used to make coloring pages for my daughter with Photoshop and sketches of some of my models

My daughter has Beta tested Mojave for the last few months and had few issues. I waited until Apple sent out the update and its been transparent except for a couple of 32 bit warnings that the program needed to be optimized for Mojave. It did take a long time to install though.

I refueled private aircraft, always used a triple folded shop rag to protect the tank opening. Never had a complaint.

I have a 1430 that is at least ten years old. When I first got it I was shocked at the price of replacement cartridges. The printer set idle for a little over two years while I was out of state. I found cartridges on Amazon. 2 sets for $22.00. After two years setting They were as good as the OEM and I've been buying them ever since. I also have a 4760 All in one that I buy ink from Amazon for. Its a little cranky recognizing the refills but they do work
