I couldn’t decide which way to go with this one--I like them both.
I favor the added punch achieved with color. The white barn is more defined, the corn stubble is subtle, but adds texture to a sterile winter scene.
Having said this your b/w is excellent too.

Gorgeous dahlias, well done
Loved all your pics. How did you backlight the center of the fourth dahlia?
When searching for a Sony 18-200MM lens I decided to order from Fumfie.com
The price was very good, it beat Amazon handily. Ordering from their site was a bit difficult, but the lens arrived in about 4 days.
I immediately had trouble because the zoom was balky and pictures lacked sharpness. So I returned the lens. Not easy to do.
I was on hold waiting for a return authorization for over 30 minutes, but they did not email me the return authorizqation as promissed. Two days later I tried
again with even longer hold time. Finally mailed the lens back to them. Now two weeks after they received my return, still no action on my credit. Someday!!??
Their service after the sale (customer service) is as bad as it gets! My suggestion, think twice about doing business with Fumfie.
Truly great pics, nice composition. Before opening your post, I thought I would see bottles of Edradour, Tobermory and Glenlivet. A beautiful country in a number of ways!

Really great pics. Makes me miss the "down east" and Bah Harbor.
I take my empty cartridges to Costco. They refill them in a little less than 30 minutes. Just enough time for me to shop and buy more than I thought I needed
Cartridges work great and are inexpensive!
Drop off your mini disc at Costco. They can print on canvas or paper in VERY wide format at low cost. Let them look at the file and decide.
You get a lot of camera for about $560...much more capable than a point and shoot. But it is, if fully utilized, much more complicated also. Good news...you can use a little of its many options or as many as you may want. U-Tube has many videos about how to use it, but just start out with the automatic settings and you will take pictures like a pro. I have had mine for about 3 months and love it. Who knows, you may develop a new hobby and hours of enjoyment with pictures that will amaze your friends.
Taking low light and nighttime pictures is a plus with this camera regardless of use of the flash.
Good luck
So many videos it is overwhelming, but much better than reading a book on all this. Thanks.
Yes, you solved my confusion.
Thanks
NEW to hedgehog and a new camera for me, my first SLR.
Could use some advice on how to set up a BBF on my Sony a6000.
Thanks for the help.
Really enjoy reading hedgehog discussions and viewing pictures.
Make that white stripes, not spots.
Reminds me of the age old question...a Zebra white with black stripes, or black with white spots???
