Going to Scotland and Ireland this spring. I have a Nikon D5600 and the following lenses. Please let me know the best one(s) to take with me.

Most dumb questions receive good replies. The reason for my dumb question was to ask for the experience of others regarding the best equipment to carry to a certain locale over a 2-week span. Didn't mean to be a bother.

This summer I'm going on a 2-week tour of Ireland and Scotland. Space and weight are at a premium and I'm reluctant to take my D5600 and three lenses. Any suggestions on what small bridge camera I could rent and from whom ? Thanks for the help - I'm an experienced beginner !

The VA is too large to provide effective care to our veterans. "Leadership" has no real authority to make meaningful changes and the professional bureaucrats are interested only in the status quo and bonuses for falsified achievement.
Nothing will change until Congress addresses the problem. They helped create this bureaucracy and have no stomach to reform it. Their solution over the past several years is to just throw more money at it. It's a national disgrace to spend this amount of money and our veterans receive substandard care. This is the same government that gave us Obama care, found it would not work, and now refuse to fix it!

It probably is the tires, or could need an alignment, but how can the dealer say with a straight face that's "normal" ? Most people don't realize you can buy a highly rated brand from a dealer who has a poor to mediocre service department.

I was in Italy a few years ago and everyone drove small cars, except the police ( they had Mercedes'). The reason is two fold - 5.00 - 6.00 gasoline and three thousand year old streets. Our obsession with SUVs began 20 years ago with the tax shelter scheme to protect GM production in Texas of the Suburban !

Ford is still carrying a debt load and their decision is based on what they see in the marketplace. Sedan sales continue to erode due to younger families wanting the room and versatility of SUBs - small, medium, large and crossovers.
Look at who has the majority if the sedan market - Honda, Nissan, and Toyota.

I came of age in 1962. After that we had Vietnam and the war on poverty. Our government started spending money like there was no tomorrow. Taxes on everything, at every level, increased dramatically. The arms race, cold war, drug war, it never ends. That 1962 chart would be more informative if it included average household taxes and the federal budget.
If you have any doubt where the money goes look at the omnibus bill congress passed on Friday. It's a disgrace! I've disagreed for years, but the only way to get a handle on it is term limits and balanced budgets.
