Although I perfer a Nikon, I have the D5100, I use a Canon Power Shot SX110is as my pocket camera. its a great little camera and takes great photos. have had it for 5yrs now.
WOW MAN!!! Groovy!! reminds me of my younger days..Peace, Love and Rock n Roll.
background is dark enough to make the subjects bright colors pop out. could have brackted with f.stops, all in all great photos and the subject is adoreable. get her portfolio going kids r us would eat her up.
Photos were great..the clarity and sharpness is by far better than todays digital...I've used kodachrome before is 35mm, 4x5, and 8x10 formats...can't beat kodachrome..
you get what you pay for..if you spend $1000.00 for a camera why spend $20.00 for a tripod, dosen't make sense to me. go for a name brand that will last a life time. think of it as an investment.
I have a Husky Tri-pod that I got about 30yrs ago. Got it when I was doing commercial photography in NYC. It goes up to 6ft, has a center crank-shaft and a pan-tilt-rotating head, It held every camera stable from 35mm, 2 1/4, 4x5 and 8x10 format view cameras. A good tripod is an investment that will last years of rugged use.
If they do that and try to get their photos published, their not professional photographers
