I have a Mac that I just cannot get used to. I am going back to a Windows laptop. I am asking for help in which is best for photography, specifically. Especially how big space wise I should buy. I will be placing images on external hard drive but would still like to have a larger capacity laptop to hold edited images. I am interested in Dell or Lenovo.
If I decide to sell my Mac rather than give to a family member I will list on UHH.

I always use an OP/TECH USA Cross Body Quick Adjust Camera Strap without the logo and rest my hand on the camera while walking.
This strap allows the camera to be brought to my eye in one motion ready to shoot.
It has a cut-resistant cable running through it and I can step through it or place it in my lap while eating and for anti-theft security.
OP/TECH products are a great value for the $ spent, and that makes me . . .

I'm guessing you deleted them from the Photoshop Elements catalog. They will still exist on the computer. If you know the folder where some (or all) of them are you can import (do a 'get') on that folder. It will import the ones you deleted and they will be connected. Any that are in the folder and are still in the Photoshop Elements catalog will be listed with a message that they were not imported. That is OK. No further action needed.

I think maybe I should hold on to everything, that way it will save alot of stress!...Julian

Thanks everybody for your help, I corrected the problem by just deleting the files that were disconnected and then everything began functioning properly...Julian

Roughly how many are disconnected? Are they concentrated in a few folders or scattered through many folders? How did they get disconnected? When did you first notice they were disconnected and do you remember what you had been doing back then? What version of Elements are you using? If you contact Adobe they will ask you these questions. If you want help from me and the UHH community you need to share every little bit of information known to you about the problem. There are knowledgeable people here who can and will help if given the chance.

A good portion of the photos are disconnected, that's why I asked do I need to start over from scratch! The version I'm using is Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024.

I've been using a 4 port powered hub on a 6 foot extension for 8 months so far.
Works great.
The hub itself is 1.4 years old.
(My dual hard drive dock is in one of those ports.)

I say go for 4, it works great for me...Julian

Which image do you like best? These two shots were taken a few seconds apart, but I was using a zoom lens and the first shot was taken at 324 mm and the second at 151 mm. Both shots were taken with a Canon R6 at SS 1/200 (to capture the rain drops), ISO 2500, f/7.1 (wide open with this lens). The first shot has a branch in the lower L corner cloned out. Both shots were processed in PS with birds brightened and BG darkened slightly. Both shots are about 75% FF.

This is horrible. A container ship collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore - "Baltimore's key bridge." Not all people have been rescued from the very cold water. Those container ships are not very maneuverable.

There is a video of the collision. https://www.wbaltv.com/article/baltimore-bridge-collapse-key-bridge/60303975

I've been over that bridge, glad to say not recently though!...Julian

Hello everyone, I have an old Yashica FX-2 35mm film camera that still works but needs servicing (cleaning, lube, etc...). Would anyone happen to know of a facility that still works on these old film cameras? I know that the service and or repairs will cost way more than the camera's value; however, this was my first film camera and of course it has some sentimental value. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same camera, don't know of any repair shops though!...Julian
