I don't use Instagram but I do follow some people. I used Flickr as a secondary backup...I also use Picasa. I would suggest you just upload the best to Flickr and decide whether you want them to be public or private...Good luck...
Before deleting photos from Flickr you might want to make a back up: I saw this in a google search...haven't done it yet myself.
How to back up your Flickr photos before your free storage space is ...
https://betanews.com/2018/11/02/back-up-flickr-photos/Nov 2, 2018 - Log into your Flickr account and head to You > Albums. Hover your mouse over an album and click the down arrow that appears. You'll see a message letting you know that the photos in the album will be zipped up, and you'll be emailed a link to the archive -- you just need to click the Create Zip File button to continue.
Hope this might help someone...
Thanks...they have been sending me threatening letters that if I don't order something they will drop me...I have been ignoring them but eventually will probably give their services a try.
Today I received the email from Flickr...New Pros receive 30% off their first year. Discounted price available until Nov 30. Free account limited to 1000 photos...I will consider going Pro (for a year) and really culling my photos rather than just uploading. I was using Flickr as another backup...now I will use it as a source for just backing up my best photos...
Doesn't Shutterfly require purchasing books or prints or something?
I'm still using Picasa...
I had not heard this...haven't received an email. I agree that I will move on if this is the case...TK
Interesting...good to know. Thanks for sharing.
I don't have Sierra but drag pics onto Flickr icon and have no problems...Good Luck.
I would think that in an editing competition there would be a before and after picture...the submissions are nice but don't they require something to compare to?
I will be interested to see the responses you get...I bought a used D90 from B&H last year...so far no problems....
Thank you...I am learning alot from you and the group...very helpful.
Thanks for all the advice...it seems I have a lot of options...I definitely am not going to use the card in the future...I might even mail it back...
Thanks... I will mail it back...I have the original package it came in....can't hurt to try. I don't plan on using it anymore...
Thanks...so far every program I have opened the pictures in (not just some of them) have some kind of distortion on part or all of the image...luckily I didn't have a lot on the disk and if I lose the images it's not the end of the world.
