A real workhorse and reliable.
Chased one down the runway at Dong Ha. It had to slow to almost a stop and I flopped onto the tail ramp with my gear and he started off as i am holding on. the crew chief, thank god, saw my problem and raised the ramp so I could slide down and into the plane. The pilot was in a bit of a hurry as it was raining artillery rounds around the area.

"no one should be able to tell another person what to do with their bodies".
I can somewhat agree with your statement, but what about the other person who cannot speak for themselves? You are now saying you can make a decision of life and death over that person. Makes no sense.

Subject: THE REAL COST OF I*****L I*******TS

Read and read again, remember we have LOTS of people in the US going hungry, can't pay for their meds., are having a HARD time paying basic necessities also. Something to think about.

It's easy to dismiss individual programs that benefit non-citizens until they're all put together and this picture emerges.

Someone did a lot of research to put together all this data. Often these programs are buried within other programs making it difficult to find each of them.

The following 11 reasons should be forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the readers gets s**k of reading them. Included are the URL's for verification of all the following facts.

I was going through some old photos and found this one. I just took a photo of the print. It was taken of me, in 1971 in S. Vietnam. I was an army captain assigned as a helicopter pilot with the 213th Aviation Company, flying CH-47 Chinook helicopters. If I recall, I set this one up on a tripod and developed it in the company darkroom. I thought is kind of embodied how we all felt at the time. I took pride in my roll as a pilot, supporting the troops on the ground in any way we could. I think by that time we were all tired and worn out, both those on the ground and those in the air. I know there are a number of Hogs who flew over there--Hueydriver and a few other, as well as all those we supported who were on the ground--the Grunts as they were affectionally known. I can't say that this is a wonderful photo, but I would dedicate this to all who served over there. I guess that's why I've saved a lot of old photos from those days.

Welcome Home Brother
DMZ from the China Sea to Laotian Border Dec 67 to Dec 68 carried a Instamatic 104 and a 8mm movie camera. Lost most of my pictures so i love when others post their pictures. I have a love hate relationship with the choppers. They took us into places (the hate part) but you guys always came to get us out no matter the circumstances (love part). Great Picture.

It angers me and is even hard to imagine that people elected to a position to guide and protect this country deny doing their primary obligation to the people of this country because they personally don't like the other side of the aisle or want to see them fail. What simple minded, selfish, and narcissistic type of person can think this way and achieve a dereliction of duty. No need to answer I already know.

Bob, Thank you for taking taking me back to that Thanksgiving Day in 68 when I was 19.
We had left that area you were in a few weeks earlier and that cloud cover was a real problem getting resupplied.
Thanksgiving Day 1968 had me at a FSB ( Fire Support Base) on the DMZ near Con Thein eating the same meal out of those green containers. I had two weeks left. What a year.
Welcome home, and as you know and for everyone else, Corpsman hold a special place for Marines, in our heart and at our table. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving
