My wife came to the U.S. for the first time in 1963 on the Queen Mary, as an exchange student. A few years ago we had a reunion (for her) and first time visit (for me) in Long Beach. Seeing the photo brings back nice memories for both of us.
Thanks. I was worried people might think the cat was out in traffic, but all the vehicles are parked.
Here are a few photos of (mostly) neighborhood cats.
When we stayed at the "Sylvia Beach" inn in Oregon, we'd just opened the door to our room when Shelley, the resident cat, came in and jumped into the sink.
The color version has more immediate impact, but the B&W seems to highlight the people's expressions better. (So no clear preference.)
The unusual perspective on these works nicely!
Nothing improves a photo like the presence of a cat or two! You also seem to have a nice Wes Anderson-like appreciation for symmetry.
It's not uncommon to see bikers in Vietnam riding in flip flops or even barefoot. I wouldn't last 5 minutes on a bike there!
A little whimsy goes a long way. Very nice.
If these are the rejects, the ones that were selected must be magnificent.
