Are you buying Canon or Nikon? Gotta find out who the lens was originally ordered from to verify it is USA and not grey market.

I had purchased a 7dm2 and after 1 week the auto focus system broke sent into canon and they would repair but not under warranty because it was grey market. So canon will still work on grey market.

I have recently added Nikon to my gear bag but according to the Nikon rep they will not look at much less work on grey market Nikon items.

If you are buying another brand it would be worth a call to their support line to find out their policies.

The moral of my story is do you dudilligents before you purchase it will pay off so you don’t end up with an expensive paperweight.

That is what is concerning me about Nikon I would like to switch from canon but I am afraid to by used products. Canon will at least clean, updates and repair grey market gear. Decision decisions. 😫😫😫😫
