Software is excellent. Does what it says. Results are terrific.
Fabulous. All of their apps are excellent, inexpensive, and work as advertised.
Went from Canon to Sony. Found the Sony too heavy for constant carry and went to the Olympus OM-D EM1 Mark II. I am in heaven. It is light, sharp, and loaded with features. My photos are beautiful. I am now very satisfied with the micro 4/3 format. Worth a look-see.
I am fortunate to live near their operation. I have had nothing but excellent service, honesty, and beautiful equipment. They are the best.
Olympus E-M1 Mark II is fabulous. I too have disc problems and changed from Sony which I found very heavy. The Olympus is light and gives me terrific results.
Gray all the way. You'll buy it and then receive a phone call trying to increase you so that you get what should have been in the box in the first place. Caveat emptor!
I have the OM-D E-M1 Mark II. All the Zuiko lenses are excellent, the PRO lenses being the best. I only have their zoom lenses now and they all produce superb results. It is more a matter of the type of shooting you do. I use the 12-40mm f2.8 PRO as my walk around lens. It does everything I need for general shooting and the dog portraits I do. The prime lenses are so light one does not know there is a lens on the camera. The 17mm is a wonderful lens.
During 15 years of wedding photography is used nothing but 6x6, Rollei, Hasselblad, Mamiya. As long as one considered cropping when shooting, it was an outstanding format. I also enjoyed 6x7 as it produced a very natural shape to work with. Frankly, the format is a matter of taste. All the MF formats are terrific and produce wonderful results. If I had the money I would buy one of the Fuji digital MF cameras, but alas being a retired teacher leaves one with little money to play with.
Depends what level of used you buy. I never go below + or better. I have had excellent service from KEH, but Adorama is a legit dealer as well.
They will offer a lower price, then call you to try to upgrade you to something you should receive for free, like lens shades, etc. Things that should come in the box they remove and try to charge you extra for them. They bill you for merchandise they don't ship and then ship it when you finally cancel it. I wouldn't touch these guys again with gloves on. There are too many reputable dealers around (Adorama, B&H, KEH) to have to deal with people like this.
Darrell Young, Mastering the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II. I purchased the book right after buying the camera. I use it as a reference, but I have found that using the camera helps one learn better than reading the book. But it is great to have a reference like this one. It should be available on Amazon. Great camera!
The 40-150mm PRO zoom is outstanding. As you know this gives you 80-300mm. Used with the dedicated MC-14 teleconverter I have gotten incredible results and nearly 620mm. It may be an option. I also have the E-M1 Mark II body. Love it!
Your image is terrific, but I think a prime will always be sharper. The 300mm is on my list for the same camera body, although it is a bit pricey for me right now. There is the MC-14 teleconverter that gives you nearly an 800 mm lens. It is made especially for the 300mm and the 40-150 PRO. Based on your image, I don't know how much better you can get it. Beautiful photo. I think it will be a matter of prime versus zoom and what you prefer to shoot.
Love their software. Eraser is neat also. I do dog portraits and am able to remove leashes, etc. very easily. Great photo. Nice job.
I have the OMD EM1 Mark II. I have never enjoyed a camera so much. I do pet portraiture and the results are consistently excellent with this camera.
