Update
My D7500 was sent to Nikon in Arizona
I got a call yesterday $460 bucks to replace the front Electronics. I told then to go ahead an fix it. Makes me sick that I would have to put that much in a camera that’s a little over a year old.
Grrrrrrr. Gary D
Is there a way to keep a Telephoto Lens which doesn’t have a Lock From extending out when it’s being carried? Maybe a trick or a band of some kind I get tired of holding it closed.
Thanks I hope this makes since
Gary D.
In your own opinion what is your favorite all around carry lens that you want on your cameras 99% of the time. While walking down the street or in the mountains. If you could have just one what would it be. Gary D
Thank you I will give it a try an let you know.
I just bought a D7500 and I can not get any of My old lenses with the Aperture ring on the back of the lens to work says F ee on read out . I have camera on Manual and aperture ring at the highest number locked in.the shutter will not function. Would not have bought if I knew they would not work. My older Lenses work fine on my D7000.
Guess I will have to start buying more Lenses disappointing for me. Gary D
Thank you for all your suggestions I am go to have to take it to a camera shop. Before I sell my D7000 which works fine with all the Lenses that I have with the aperture fine in the back of it.
Happy Holidays
I have the camera setting in Manual mode aperture set at highest number and it still will not work. I thought maybe there is something in the settings menu but, I sure can’t see it
Yes it is the aperture Ring not the shutter ring I’m sorry about that and I have it locked at the largest Number and it still won’t work.
I find it Best to show just a few at a time if there’s too many photos people have a tendency to just flip through them and not really take in the beauty of your trip.
I would say like 20 of your Best.
I can not get my D7500 Nikon to Except the Lenses that I used on my D7000 with the Shutter ring on the back of the lens. I have the setting on the smallest setting it says f e e and will not work on manual or any other settings. Am I missing something or will these Lens not work on that camera. one lens is a Nikkor 80-200 mm1:2.8 D which I would really like to use on it. Please Help. I hope this makes since the way I wrote it thank you Gary D
