The Core-Ten / weathering steel only functions properly if it isn't constantly, or even regularly, wet. You can't use it as sheet piling in water. On road bridges in Ohio it was required to paint the weathering steel near the abutments where the deck joints would typically leak. You can typically see a slightly different shade of brown for about 10 feet from the abutments where it is painted vs where the steel is weathering.

Like you, I find it awkward to hold the second button in continuous/servo mode. You raise a good option in just turning BBF on and off as desired. Thanks for raising the issue.

I currently am on cable and will be cutting it in the near future. One feature I am not looking forward to giving up is the Golf Channel. Could someone tell me what service carries that channel in their lineup? I know I can get a live broadcast but a lot of times I'm busy during the noon to 7 pm time frame to watch it live and the Golf channel will replay the day's round from 8 or 9 until the conclusion of the day's play.

Or go the digital recorder route. I've been using a Channel Master DVR for years to schedule recordings from over-the-air (OTA) channels I can receive. I think their recorders got bought out by TiVo now though. But another option if you can receive the shows you want to watch OTA.

Thank you. I'll try that on my 6d.

Camera in excellent condition. Purchased used on UHH in April 2017. Used a number of times for nephew/nieces sporting events. Just not being used that much anymore. April 2017 purchase indicated shutter count around 500. I can't find anything (or willing to download other software) to give me the shutter count now, but my guess is that it is less than 5,000.

Includes original box w/ paperwork/discs, battery, charger, usb cable and camera strap (unused). Also a Sunwayfoto L-bracket.

$650 + $15 shipping. Paypal only.

Thank you for the clarification on the shutter count issue. I'll do some more research.

Canon sure makes it hard when you are simply trying to provide some basic info when you are
selling a body!

I thought I would give it a try on a 7d mk ii. The line at the bottom "camera is detected" showed the 7d correctly, but no information was revealed and the top line simply reads "Camera Not Connected". Tried reconnecting and restarting a couple of times with no success.

Just an FYI to other 7d owners.

I would consider Microsoft's Onedrive "cloud" service. Works well with Lightroom. I got it through the Office 365 plan for around $100/year.

Not sure on the comparison of specs, but I've been very happy with the quality of the pics I take with the Samsung Galaxy J7 2nd Gen. It was $190 on the Verizon site. I think the same at Target.

Not applicable to the discussion on mirror-less bodies, but I always note on these "APS-C lens on full frame" discussions that there is a risk in damaging a standard full-frame mirror DSLR. Apparently some APS-C lenses are designed where the lens physically extends back into the camera body. They work fine on an APS-C body, but the larger mirror on a full frame body can actually hit the lens. Just a word of caution.

I definitely interested. What's the next step? I've used PayPal, but don't actually have a PayPal account; just used a credit card through their system. If I recall, stores/people then need to add a percent or two to cover a service charge.
